How To Curb Lifestyle Diseases By Using Raw Food Diet

These days, many people suffer from different health complications. The most common are obesity and diabetes, which unfortunately, are directly linked to the diet that one consumes. Health experts have been using various methods in an effort to reverse this trend. One of these methods is the used of specialized diets such as the raw food diet. With these diets, the body’s disease fighting mechanisms are strengthened. With the raw diet, one is supposed to consume plant-based foods in their natural uncooked state.

However, it is vital to note that taking part in a raw food diet does not mean that one will only be consuming uncooked foods. It simply means that the largest portion of your meals will comprise of the raw foods. The actual portion size is determined by the specialist consulted.

This means that the terms raw food diet can be used to mean different things. These include consuming at least 50% of your foods in their natural state. Avoiding heating foods over 116 or 118 degrees F as this is the heat level at which enzymes break down. Taking a vegan diet, which excludes dairy and meat products, is also part of the raw diet category.

Why it is important to consider this diet?

Although the raw diet has been associated with various health benefits, one can still wonder if it is necessary to consume this diet. If you consider the history of human beings, it is clear that they evolved largely on a plant-based diet.

The other diets started to emerge after humans learned to domesticate animals and farm. This is what led to the artificially created foods, which form a large part of today’s diets. These are hard for the body to process and the main reason for the explosion of lifestyle diseases.

Taking part in the raw food diet allows one to eliminate white sugar, alcohol and artificial ingredients from the food you consume. Instead, vitamins, enzymes and minerals among other healthy substances replace them.

This is why a person taking part in this diet can be able to cope with health complications and lifestyle diseases such as diabetes more easily. Other benefits of this diet include improved moods and a positive body image. These two result from the elimination of harmful substances from the body, which helps, in maintenance of better brain chemistry and loss of weight.

Various cases where the raw food diet has resulted in success include curing diseases such as chronic bronchitis, rheumatoid arthritis, pneumonia, asthma and allergies. It has also been used in the improvement of skin and hair condition. Lastly it has also been use to fight binge eating or craving for junk food and improvement in athletic performance.

    Even if the food die is derived from gasoline industry benzine, that means literally nothing. Petroleum is an organic compound, itself, so it's not at all hard to understand that many organic foods will also contain compounds that are found in petroleum.

    Have you considered doing a video of Dr. Terry Wahls and her miracle cure for multiple sclerosis? Her claims are similar to the idea that a "paleo diet" will cure everything and as someone dealing with MS I see a lot of people give up their proven medications for diets which are unproven, risking permanent disability and brain damage. I would love to see someone take on those claims

    The food babe might be a moron but you are not very reassuring yourself, I would rather not eat petroleum derived products as it is not necessary just as I don't take Paracetomol – not because it is dangerous but it is just not necessary.

    There are 4 ingredients found in beer (water, barley, hops, and yeast). Certain beers add fruit or spice at Christmas. If it contains anything else, it is not beer.
